Shopify Developer

About the Role

Selfcraft Media is seeking an experienced Shopify Developer (4+ years) who can build, enhance, and scale high-performance Shopify stores. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and the capability to convert business requirements into smooth, optimized eCommerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and manage Shopify stores, themes, and apps.
• Create custom sections, templates, and functionalities using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Ensure responsive, mobile-optimized, user-friendly front-end development.
• Optimize website performance, speed, SEO, and conversion rates.
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and custom features as per project needs.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, marketing, and project teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues with efficient problem-solving.
• Stay updated with Shopify platform updates, new features, and industry trends.
• Lead or support junior developers when required.

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience in Shopify Development.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, theme architecture, and custom theme development.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive frameworks.
• Experience with Shopify APIs, app integrations, and third-party plugins.
• Good understanding of eCommerce best practices, UI/UX principles, and CRO fundamentals.
• Experience with Git/version control, debugging tools, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
