HR Executive
Role Overview
The HR Executive is responsible for end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to meet the organisation’s workforce needs. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, attract qualified candidates, and ensure a seamless hiring experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and a deep understanding of recruitment best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing
- Utilise various channels such as social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), professional networks, job portals, and employee referrals to attract top talent.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
Requirement Analysis
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job specifications, team dynamics, and role expectations.
- Develop detailed job descriptions and person specifications to align with organisational goals.
Candidate Screening
- Review and evaluate resumes, applications, and portfolios to shortlist candidates who meet the required qualifications.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability, skills, and cultural fit.
Interview Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide timely feedback to candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Offer Management
- Negotiate job offers, compensation packages, and benefits with candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for selected candidates, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.
Market Research and Trends
- Stay updated on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and emerging tools to enhance the talent acquisition process.
- Analyse recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimise hiring strategies.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using online job portals, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and recruitment tools.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills to close candidates effectively.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
- A growth mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Educational Qualifications
- MBA with a specialisation in Human Resource Management (preferred).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline, or a diploma in HR, with a strong understanding of recruitment processes.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR roles, preferably within the IT services and consulting industry.
- Proven track record of hiring for technical and non-technical roles, marketing roles, etc.
